Broken Pencil Issue 82

Broken Pencil 2018-19

Working with Editor, Jonathan Vallely, on Broken Pencil’s 2019 Winter Issue #82 to create accompanying illustrations for the Indie Writer’s Death Match happening at the time. Pictured above is the piece for “Hong Kong Food Fire Storm” by Susanne Lee (read here), and “Snake Dreams” by Jess Taylor. The process was fairly simple, Jonathan was pretty hands off, but told me which pieces of mine he enjoyed so I had an idea on what to give him for the final. I sent some thumbnails, and moved onto finals with the ones he liked best. Finals and thumbnails below with a bonus illustration that was pushed to the next issue, “History of B00bz” (read here).
